Special thanks to the guys at Flipline Studios with providing us
with this information!
If you're having trouble with your progress
not being saved in one or all of our games, there are a few possible
reasons why this could be happening. Your progress is saved with
something called a "Flash cookie." This is a teeny, harmless file
that the game puts on your computer that stores your game
information. Something must have
deleted your Flash cookies!
Check the list below to see if any of these help solve the issue
for you.
Reason #1: Your Web Browser is deleting your saved games
With certain web browsers (like Internet Explorer) and the newest
Flash Player, when you delete cookies in your browser it will also
delete saved information for Flash games. This is actually a newer
issue, as browsers added this feature within the last few months
with updates, so if the problem only started happening since May
2011 this may be the cause for you.
If you have deleted your cookies recently, or set up your web
browser to automatically delete cookies when you close the window,
this could be the reason your saved games have disappeared.

Reason #2: Other software is deleting your saved games
Some cleaning software (such as CCleaner) may also delete your
saved games. If you use cleaning software regularly, or have it
scheduled to automatically clean up files on your computer, this may
be why your saved games are missing. Check if there are any options
to disable deleting Flash SharedObjects / LSOs / Flash Cookies in
the software.
Reason #3: Flash Player is preventing you from saving your game
The first two reasons relate to existing saved games that later
disappear, but if your games never save your progress, it could be a
setting in the Flash Player that is preventing you from saving your
game. First, check your Flash Global Storage Settings. Learn
more about this here:
Global Storage Settings for Flash Player
The image below will show settings which should work correctly.
If your settings screen looks different, this may be the issue with
your saved games.

Next, check your storage settings for a particular site.
Learn more about this here:
Website Storage Settings for Flash Player
On this screen, scroll through the list at the bottom and click
on the site where you play the game (www.coolifiedgames.com). After clicking, check the slider and
checkbox above to make sure you can save on this site. The image
below shows settings that should work for you:

When you've finished making changes to each of these screens, you
can just close the window -- it automatically applies the changes
without needing an "OK" button.
Reason #4: You're not playing on the same exact site
If you played the game on our site, your progress will only be
remembered on our sites. Also, make sure the site address is
exactly what you used last time. There may be an issue if you
started playing at "http://coolifiedgames.com and then try to
continue on "http://www.coolifiedgames.com" (with the www included).
Reason #5: You're not playing on the same computer
The game can't recognize you as a person, it can only recognize
your computer! So, if you play on a different computer or get
a new computer, you'll have to start your game progress over again.
